AutoCAD Drafter
Create detailed, accurate construction documents for structural engineering projects, commercial & residential. Must be able to generate plans and sections and work with principal engineer to make drawings corrections under tight deadlines.
- 4+years in AutoCAD

Special Inspector
Verify that work is being done in accordance with approved plans and specifications, meeting NYC Building Codes for the structural integrity and safety of those projects.
- 2+ years inspecting construction work in NYC
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- ACI Level 1
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications
Field Inspector
Perform field observations and material sampling/testing during construction of buildings. Cast samples of concrete, masonry and more, for strength verification. Perform concrete construction special inspections for concrete placement, rebar, formwork removal, temperature monitoring and anchor pull tests. Write daily field reports documenting work performed by contractors and indication compliance/non-compliance with contract documents.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

- ACI Level 1 & ACI Lab Technician Level 1
Junior Engineer
Prepare engineering calcualtions and structural analysis for simple structural components of buildings. Prepare preliminary engineering design for full and interior demolition of building, and draft sequencial demolition analysis of structures. Evaluate losses in strength, functionality and value through safety and damage assessments, reliability and risk analysis and component and material testing. Assist with analysis to develop design options or recommendations as well as assist in the preparation of the requirements and specifications for structural engineering projects. Perform basic survey work to assist in the design of the new or existing buildings. Prepare computer-aided design work and visual-aided drawings such as CAD, coordinate with technician on CAD drawings. Support PE in conducting structural stability inspections of buildings before and during construction to ensure that the work complies with the approved plans and building codes. Research current building codes and design codes to support the design phase of new building or structural renewal.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- 12 months of work experience at same or related position in civil engineering or construction firm
- E.I.T Certification required
